How to record android screen from any android device without root

There are many reasons to record what's going on your computer or smartphone screen: these are step-by-step guides and tutorials, a demonstration of your gaming skills, and an overview of the operation of the device itself. Gradually, all new operating systems also have built-in functions, but without that all, there are enough third-party applications to perform this work.

How to record screen on Android devices:

Method 1: Using the embedded (system) application:

Some users will have to wait until Android Q is released, so that screen recording is accessible without downloading additional apps. However, some manufacturers are now offering this functionality to their smartphones.

OnePlus:

Recently, OnePlus phones has the ability to record a screen - this happened with the release of OnePlus 7 Pro. Screen recording can migrate to older models like the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6. Here's what you need to do to activate this feature on the OnePlus 7 Pro:

• If there is no “Screen Record" option in the Quick Settings menu, you need to add it there. To do this, click on the pencil icon at the end of the quick settings panel and drag the “Screen Record” button to the top.

• Then you need to click on the Screen Recordings switch. 

• Once the screen recording function has appeared, you need to press the red button to start the recording process.

• Screen recording settings can be opened by clicking on the gear icon. There you can configure the video resolution, sound source, video orientation and much more.

Xiaomi:

On most Xiaomi smartphones, there is already a Screen Recorder application already installed in MIUI. This application can be found in the Tools folder, which are located either on one of your home pages, or in the applications section (if you have one).

• Open the screen recorder app and click the gear icon in the upper right corner to set or change settings such as video resolution, quality, orientation, sound source, frame rate, and more.

• Then click on the red record button in the lower right corner, and then on the “start” button to start recording the screen.

Huawei and Honor:

Huawei and Honor also have a built-in screen recording application in EMUI.

As like OnePlus, the implementation of screen recording (camera icon) is located in the Quick Settings menu, which opens when the notification panel is displayed after moving your finger down.

•  You can also start screen recording by simultaneously pressing the power and sound keys.

• To finish recording, you need to repeat one of these two actions.

Samsung:

On Samsung smartphones, you can record what is happening on the screen using the Samsung Game Launcher function.

• Open “Settings” -> “Advanced Features” and turn on the Game Launcher function. All games will be moved to the folder with the same name. 

• During the game, swipe your finger upward. An icon for recording a screen and a screenshot will appear in the lower left corner. 

Record screen for any devices with Android 5.0 to latest Via Google Play Games:

• On some smartphones that do not have a built-in screen recording function, you can record gameplay using the Google Play Games application. 

• If it is not already installed on your device, you will need to download it and go through authorization in it.

• Find the game you want to record, and then click on the camcorder icon at the top.

• If necessary, change the recording settings, and then click on the Start button. Although this method is intended for recording in games, after the recording settings appear on the screen, you can exit the game and record anything.
